The mysterious figure hovered over Gwen's shield and chuckled her mystical chuckle. Finally, Gwen heard her, and she looked up from flipping through the book some more. However, she only caught a glimpse of Arabella. She suddenly appeared at the top of the library's staircase as a shadowy figure, and she gestured for the young lady to follow her. Gwen thought she was dreaming. This figure looked familiar. Why did she want her to follow her though? The second she saw her coming, she took off again. This time, she appeared at the front door of the farmhouse. As Gwen searched for her, she asked questions to herself. Who was this figure? Where did she come from? What did she want? Strangely, this didn't happen until after she read the legend of Illusion. 113Please respect copyright.PENANARiCF69OHGM
Finally, when she turned her head to the right, she spotted Arabella. Still a shadowy figure, she slipped through the front door and pushed it open. There she was. Arabella. She now hovered above the farmhouse's barnyard, and she pointed in the direction of the woods where Gwen first met the wolf. Thanks to the moon's rays, she did not need a lantern to find her way around. The moon was her lantern. If she followed this imp into to woods, would she help her become a musketeer? If she had a connection with Illusion, then surely she knew where it was. Both confusion and excitement swirled through Guinevere's body as she descended the front stairway and hurried after Arabella. Seeing her determination, she cracked a mystical yet sinister smile and took off again,113Please respect copyright.PENANAQWby5lHBGu
Gwen chased her for she didn't know how long but eventually, here she was. Back in the woods - dressed in a nightgown, holding a book in one hand and a shield mirror in the other. That wasn't something you saw everyday, and Gwen honestly felt a little embarrassed, but she had to trek on. After all, life was just a bunch of mountains waiting for somebody to climb them. The moon's rays shone through the silent treetops and created puddles on the forest floor. Gwen trotted through each one as she tried to keep up with Arabella.113Please respect copyright.PENANAdtQz0egE1t
The imp took her to an open area where the moonlight was brightest. Off to the side was a creek. This was where she paused, and Gwen could finally reach her. Before long, girl and imp faced each other in the bathing moonlight.113Please respect copyright.PENANAs8wRaWzqFt
Guinevere tried to catch her breaths, but she eventually let out a small, "Who are you?" Again, Arabella chuckled. Her shadowy form faded away to reveal her true self, an imp-like, human-like, and witch-like being with long white hair, green skin, who wore a tall, white hat as well as a white dress She did not answer Guinevere's question.113Please respect copyright.PENANAWOSQ8TU09j
Instead, she said in her mystical voice, "Child of destiny. The one whom fights for ideals, you are about to embark on a great mission. However, you will not be alone."113Please respect copyright.PENANADtlczUbb8l
"What are you talking about?" Gwen questioned, "Child of destiny? Are you kidding? I'm just a farm girl."113Please respect copyright.PENANAQda3ZhQuEm
When she said this, Arabella brought her palm to her lips and chuckled, "That's what you think. Why do you think I brought you here?"113Please respect copyright.PENANAt3A6R5y3Zc
"I have no idea." Gwen admitted with a shrug, "I'm just curious. I also have a dream."113Please respect copyright.PENANA2CDJ7jrJ1T
"Exactly." Here, Arabella held her arms out to her sides and floated away from the girl. She stopped in front of a cluster of trees and placed her hands behind her back, "You are not alone. This little fellow also has a dream." Little fellow? What on Earth? If this witch-like creature couldn't get any more confusing, she finished with, "Child of destiny. The one whom fights for truths, howl to the Moon and make yourself true." As she said this, a figure stepped out from the cluster of trees. Gwen broke down in sweat, and her hands felt wet and warm when she saw whom stood in front of her. It was the wolf! His hair-like fur running down the coarse of his neck gave it away. What the heck? That was NOT a child! That was a predatory animal!113Please respect copyright.PENANAZXPYiXYLc1
As quick as a flash, Gwen held her shield-like mirror in front of her in case he lunged. On the other hand, the wolf merely panted, and his emerald green eyes widened. It was as if he too was trying to process what was going on here. Arabella came between them and twirled on one leg. She looked back and forth from the wolf and girl and opened her mouth to sing. Even her voice was mysterious. Who was this imp?113Please respect copyright.PENANAUFVl6piXIO
She danced under the moonlight, with two curious youngsters questionably watching her, and sung,

Guinevere and the wolf had no idea what she was talking about. Was the imp's melody another version of the legend of Illusion? If so, why did she wait this long to share it with Gwen? Arabella, still as mysterious as ever, floated over to the wolf and landed on his head. The second she did, the wolf ran in circles and tried to shake her off. However, Arabella had a tight grip on his fur.113Please respect copyright.PENANA3eL4JIJhF4
Just watching the animal run in circles, Gwen almost laughed. He looked adorable. Perhaps this wolf wasn't as bad as she thought? After all, he did return her hat in the forest that morning.113Please respect copyright.PENANAo97xCgDE8C
Arabella guided him towards her and leaned in close to his ear.113Please respect copyright.PENANAlxRwi2wCIp
"You have very soft fur," she whispered, "I should ride you more often." Slightly offended, the wolf dug his paws into the forest's dirt and tried to keep still, but the imp used magic to control him like a puppet. Only a short while later, the dog's feet slid on the ground, and he stopped in front of Guinevere. It looked like he was sliding on ice. Chuckling, Arabella patted his cheek, saying, "Good wolf." With that, she hopped off his back and floated behind both he and Gwen. "The one whom fights for truths," spoke her mysterious voice, "And the one whom fights for ideals." She rubbed her hands together and tossed some of her magic into the sky. It took on the form of two figures on horseback who just reached a desert kingdom. As the image projected itself to the girl and wolf, she concluded the song she just sung,
"The land of this lonely soul.113Please respect copyright.PENANAaPbrhuE12A
Trapped between confidence and war.113Please respect copyright.PENANAoUrSJTGcmF
To those who have a connection so bright and so pure.113Please respect copyright.PENANAvWUq1f1foD
And those who come from a past they can be sure.113Please respect copyright.PENANABHOLBIQ3lI
A past from the Arabian War."
And that was it. The projection faded from view, as did Arabella. A flash of light took her away, and she left two very confused individuals behind: Gwen and the wolf.
