After a long day of school, and spending even more time doing homework, Josie, Paisley and I decided to meet at Josie's.
"Hey!" I say to Paisley as I spot her, as she says simultaneously, "Hey!" back.
I spot Josie.
"Hey!" Josie and I say both in unison.
I spot some girl with short, ash-brown hair with jean flair pants and grey varsity jacket-like sweater.
"He-wait!" I pause. "Who are you!?"
"Oh!" Josie exclaims. "I forgot you didn't know about Margaret!"
"Margaret is our friend from basketball practice!" Paisley explains. "Margaret, this is Vidia!"
"Margaret has lived in Mexico for three years and lived in London for two years!" Josie gushed. "And she won every single beauty pageant she competed!"
A pageant queen...?
"Uh-huh!" Margaret squealed, standing up. "I've even won Little Miss Princess California!"
Yep, I hated her already.

When it was finally the weekend, Josie, Paisley, and I decided to have lunch at Gregory's. Now that my tenth birthday passed on Thursday and now all of us are ten years old, we can all finally go to specific places alone, including Gregory's, because Gregory's has been Paisley, Josie, and my favorite place to eat even before we met and we know the staff really well. And after, we always get frozen yogurt at Doe's Best Ice Cream!
"Are you girls excited!?" I beamed.
"To finally go to somewhere without annoying parents or dumb older sisters!?" Paisley shared my excitement. "OF COURSE!"
"Oh, that reminds me!" Josie remembered. "I forgot, Margaret's 'gonna tag along with us!"
Ick.
At Gregory's, after Josie's dad dropped us off, we saw Little Miss Mary standing in front of Gregory's.
"Hello, Josie!" Margaret squealed. Josie high-fived her.
"Hello, Paisley!" Margaret squealed as Paisley high-fived her.
"Hello, Vidia!" Margaret squealed. I sloppily slapped her wrist. She didn't even pronounce my namecorrectly. My name is Vidia, which sounds exactly like you think it does, but surprisingly, Margaret calls me "Vee-dya."
We order our meals. While waiting, we go to the side of the building and wash our hands. After I wash my hands, Margaret says,
"Vee-dya, dry your hands!"
Don't tell me what to do.
"And after we have lunch," Margaret beams, "We can have chocolate cake at the new 'Cake Princess bakery nearby Doe st.!"
"Good idea!" Josie agrees.
"But we always have Doe's Best..." I remind them.
"It's good to try new things, Vidia!" Paisley beamed.
After we finished lunch, I was so mad, because this was an important milestone, and Margaret ruined it! Also, cake was disgusting.
