I give, I cry

your kind words spear

deep in my heart

Kindness

I don't deserve you

Once I longed for u

Now your forgotten

I'm alone, I'm afraid

Numb to cruelty

I brake at kindness

I meet, I pass

Your expectations

No longer expecting

your open arms

Ready to hold me

Should I fall

Walls brake

Flood rising

I fear the worst

For I live To give

And

Take nothing

In return

I'm too old

Or so they say

I don't need

Babying to day

So long alone

I've made my peace

So long as I'm

Not broke

By touches Of kindness

That brush by

For the simpleness

Of kindness

Is the reason

I give, I cry
